After graduation, I spent a year at Salem State College, majoring in journalism. I transfered in 2004 to Emerson College in Boston and graduted in 2007 cum laude with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in history. I recently left New England Cable News, where I had been working for the past two years as a production assistant, writing stories for live newscasts on weekend mornings. I currently work as a freelance news reporter for the Wakefield Daily Item and the Woburn Advocate covering city affairs.
